Having done yoga in the USA and been a certified Yoga Teacher for a few years I felt something missing in my Teaching skills

Having done yoga in the USA and been a certified yoga teacher for a few years I felt something missing in my teaching skills. I could take my clients through the different asanas but was missing out on something vital and important. In search of that something lead me to a Teacher Training Classes with Yoga Life.

The month that I spent was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. The TTC was held in McLeod Ganj a serene yet simple place with amazing views and energies.

The journey I took was a yoga teacher’s dream come true. Anyone can become a yoga teacher but to become a ‘compassionate yoga teacher’ is not easy.

My buttons were pushed deep to rediscover who I was and why I chose this line. Did I have it within me to be that ‘compassionate yoga teacher’ or was this profession not for me.

The course was intensive, physically demanding, soul searching and worth every thing.

I learnt about my weakness and to accept them with dignity, my strengths to be accepted with grace and most importantly to teach and reach out from the HEART!

I went back with a better understanding of yoga and its philophsy. We all know that yoga means UNION but to actually feel that unity within is what I found spectacular and eye opening.

I now teach and reach out from my heart and enjoy teaching. It’s become a passion of mine and I have seen real changes not only within my own practice but with my clients as well.
